I have recently quit smoking 4weeks and 2days lol. I saw my health visitor who started me on the new tablet ''champix'' . I feel absolutely wonderful and came off the tablet a week ago. The tablet itself was horrid, made me feel sick and i struggled to sleep on a night...and the most craziest dreams.

But it really helped with the agitation you get from stopping smoking and makes the cravings much less. Anyone esle tried it?

I use a quitkeeper i downloaded to keep me up to date with my progress and it helps me focus.... really good if you would one http://www.dedicateddesigns.com/qk/

By now i would have smoked over 400 cigs, ive saved £117.86 and added 1 day and 14hrs to my life Smile

Well done hun good on ya for giving up. I used patches and gum the gum was yuk and the patches gave me strange dreams when I slept lol, I have not heard of the pill you took to give up but thats brill it worked.

I dont know if I felt better after giving upcoz I was pregnant so yuk anyway lol, I do feel better for it now tho, I can run well sort of anyway alot of me wobbles when I do hehehe, I like the fact that the kids dont see me doing it. My futcher sil smokes like a train and she smells she sent some clothes up for the kids and even after I washed it I could still smell smoke.

Yeah my mum actually dared to tell me now i stopped smoking...thats she could even smell it on my cups arrggghhhh....wish she would have told me then i would have been so embarrassed! I feel really good knowing i can kiss and hold my baby without stinking!

I never noticed the smell when I smoked, but my parents who have never smoked said I stunk (thanks mum and dad) I was very embarised when she told me lol
